EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment directiveThe EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires certain electrical and electronic products sold in the EU from 13 August 2005 onwards to be marked with the WEEE crossed out wheelie bin logo.

The presence of the logo on any product indicates that the product should not be placed in the general refuse and that it should be separately collected.

Multi Alarm GB regards itself as an “environmentally-friendly” company and has decided to mark all of its new products as WEEE-compliant.

Any Multi Alarm GB products should be separately collected for appropriate disposal at the end of their operational life. This means approved recycling or disposal operators for safe recycling, recovery or reuse.

Multi Alarm GB offers a disposal service for all Multi Alarm GB Control Panels whether or not they are WEEE-marked. We will attempt to re-use as much of the product as possible and then dispose of the remainder through approved recycling operators. Please contact us before returning any products.
[Please note that this does not cover Smoke Detectors and other devices, as these are manufactured by other companies—they should be returned to their respective manufacturers.]
